About Rafael Javadov
Rafael Javadov was born
in Baku, Azerbaijan. His musical
education started at the age of 5. At the age of 10, he entered a
Special Tchaikovsky Music School under Moscow Conservatory. The
Tchaikovsky school is considered to be one of the best music schools in
the world.
After graduating from
the Conservatory, he played in one of the top Ukrainian Symphony
(Dnepropetrovsk). From 1986-1988 Rafael was Concertmaster of the North
Pole Navy Band in Russia (Severomorsk).
In 1994, while chairing a First-section Violin position in the
Dnepropetrovsk Symphony, Rafael's excellent leadership abilities
allowed him to become the conductor and arranger for Dnepropetrovsk
Youth Violin Ensemble "Violino". After his triumph performances through
Russia, Ukraine and Europe in 1995, the Ensemble was offered a tour in
the United States.
Since 1995, Mr. Javadov has been residing in the U.S.A. He performs as
orchestra player with many of the USA Symphony Orchestras. He has also
played numerous recitals as a soloist and as a member of chamber music
ensembles.
Mr. Javadov
was the Music Director of the
Kol Haruach Klezmer Band. Their CD
"In
The Beginning" made it to the first 10 Klezmer Music productions in the
world that year. He also performed live in concert at the John F.
Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Millennium Stage on January 8,
2005.
He is a member the Helios
string quartet and String Duo with Sergey Morozov. He performs
arrangements of Russian folk themes and romances and the Mediterranean
folk music, Gypsy, Jewish, American classics, and also classical music
favorites.
Rafael Javadov is a soloist, arranger and a Musical Director of
"Acoustic Machine,"
a group performing an original music of Sergey Krichenko, a unique and
dimensional composer, a real event in the music world today.
"Acoustic Machine"
was created as a result of a spontaneous fusion of European, African
and Latin notions. The group has a unique dimensional style that
fluctuates from a tight beat to jazz and elevates to complexity of a
classical composition. Their non-commercial approach creates a musical
image that is sincere, unique and complex.
